Merry Christmas | Happy Holidays

Weihnachten ist endlich da! Ich wünsche euch allen ein frohes Fest und – auch wenn ihr Weihnachten nicht feiert – schöne freie Tage und eine besinnliche Zeit. Ganz viele Christmas Vibes von mir an euch.

In Südkalifornien ist es leider etwas schwer Weihnachtsvibes zu bekommen, da es relativ warm ist und natürlich weit und breit kein Schnee zu sehen ist. Umso glücklicher war ich als ich rausgefunden habe, dass es in San Diego einen Weihnachtsmarkt gibt. Ich habe mir eine Freundin geschnappt und wir haben den Markt erkundet. Tatsächlich hat er mich sehr an europäische Weihnachtsmärkte erinnert, mit all den Buden (mein Banane-Nutella Crepe war unfassbar lecker) und dem Schnee. Ja, es gab tatsächlich Schnee. Der war zwar leider nicht echt, aber er sah super realistisch aus und hat sich sogar wie echter Schnee angefühlt.

EN | In Southern California it’s a little hard to get Christmas vibes because it’s relatively warm and of course there’s no snow anywhere to be seen. That’s why I was super happy when I found out that there’s a holiday market in San Diego. I visited it with a friend, and we loved it. It actually reminded me of European Christmas markets with all the boots (my banana-Nutella crepe was incredibly yummy!) and the snow. Yes, there was snow. It wasn’t real, but it looked super realistic and even felt like real snow.

Zum Abschluss haben wir dann noch diesen wunderschönen Weihnachtsbaum gesehen, unter dem unter anderem auch der süße Teddy saß, der aussah wie ich mit meinem Mantel!

EN | At the end we saw this beautiful Christmas tree under which we found that cute teddy bear that looked just like me in my coat!
